Gowllands Limited was founded at the close of the nineteenth century by three Gowlland brothers. Initially they concentrated on ophthalmologic instruments. Subsequently the focus shifted towards diagnostic instruments for ear, eye, nose and throat. The range has recently been extended to include related products such as laryngoscopes, blood measuring instruments, stethoscopes, and now includes a full range of surgical instruments.

From the inception Gowllands Limited have maintained the highest level of quality and customer services the Company is proud to continue today this tradition.

We have the certificate EN ISO 13488 Quality system medical devices. The Company is ISO 9001/9002 certified. Our products are CE marked and some of them FDA approved for sale in the USA.

Gowllands Ltd has become one of the several companies British Health National Service (NHS) has awarded long-term contract for supply surgical instruments.

Surgical instruments used in the military field hospitals are registered and approved by NATO, British and Czech military healthcare authorities.

Gowllands Limited manufactures and exports its products to more than 140 countries worldwide.
