Three heads and careful diffuser design ensures outstanding shadow reduction.

Reflector

3 × 205mm diameter reflectors, each with many layers of specialised optical coating that filters out 90% infra-red radiation (heat) from the beam and emulates daylight so that tissue tones are rendered accurately.

Diffuser

The robust polycarbonate diffusers protect the light and give excellent shadow reduction. They also reduce infra-red radiation in the projected beam and enhance the light’s appearance.

Halogen lamp

Specifically designed for high luminosity, accurate focusing and long life.

Multi-purpose

Ideal for surgery, ophthalmology, OBS delivery operation, diagnostics and gynaecology. Also suitable for use within casualty departments and intensive care units.

Variable light-patch and intensity

The central handle, which can readily be removed for sterilising in an autoclave, is used both to position the light and to control the diameter of the light-patch. A secondary handle is fitted to aid steering the light-patch, whilst Intensity is controlled via an electronic dimmer on the wall – mounted power supply module.

Double-walled housing

Ensures that the light heads stay at a safe and low working temperature.

Mounting options

Wall and ceiling mount options are available.

Auto-balance suspension arm

Sophisticated design permits the light-head on the ceiling and wall models to move in any direction (up to 1,600mm radius) with ease.
