The new range of Savlon dressings have been specifically designed to provide the best conditions to aid the natural healing process, therefore helping to prevent scarring, promote faster healing and reduce pain of the abrasion.
- Contains 5 Dressings. (7.5×5cm).
- Ideal for cuts, blisters and minor burns.
- A clear flexible dressing with a Hydrocolloid island which helps relieve pain by cushioning the wound.
The dressings are sterile, hypoallergenic and latex free. - All the plasters are hypoallergenic, latex free and suitable for all the family
When to use a Savlon dressing:
Ideally these dressings should be applied to fresh wounds, which have been cleaned and where a scab has not formed.
How long should I keep the dressing on?
The longer you are able to leave the wound undisturbed the faster it will heal. The dressings have been designed to stay in place for 3 to 7 days.
Do they need to be changed after showering?
The dressings provide an effective barrier against bacteria, dirt and water and therefore they should stay in place even after showering.
If they begin to peel away from the wound it is advisable to change the dressings – however as long as they remain attached, they can stay in place for 3 – 7 days.
