Molnlycke Brevet TX Anti-Embolism Stocking (1 Pair)

The dangers of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) in non-ambulant patients demand an anti-embolism stocking that can deliver correct pressure gradients consistently.

How to Measure

Measure your patient at the widest part of their calf © and at the widest part of their thigh (T), if ordering thigh length stockings.

How to Apply Brevet tx

1. Insert your hand into the foot of the stocking, as far as the heel pocket – grasp it and turn the stocking inside out.
2. Carefully position the stocking over the foot and heel, making sure the patient’s heel is in the heel pocket.
3. Roll the stocking up the leg and, if fitting the thigh length with waistband style, ensure that the upper panel is positioned above the hips before securing the waistband.
4. Smooth out any excess material and pull the toe section forward to smooth both ankle and instep area, and ensure that the patient’s toes are comfortable.
